SoCal Island Club Adventure

Dana Point Jet Ski and Kayak Center Invites all Hobie Adventure & Tandem Island Owners to Join us, Sunday, April 14, 2013

Upon arrival, parking and launching your Hobie Island

(Please bring your life jacket, sail and cool weather gear, sun protection, dry-bag, water, towel)

If your boat is on a trailer, the best place to launch is at Embarcadero Marina (public launch ramp) this launch spot is directly across from Dana Point Jet Ski's dock location.

If you are going to car-top your boat, parking will be available at Dana Point Jet Ski so you can launch from one of our docks. There will also be space on the docks to tie up your boat during land activities.

 

Itinerary for the day

11:30am: Lunch, Potluck! Main course BBQ provided. Bring your favorite side dish, salad or dessert. We will conduct an informational seminar on safety & discuss future sailings.

1:00 pm: Plan to get on the water and return to the docks on or before 4:00pm. We'll map out a water course to follow that morning to take into account wind and sea conditions.

Fishing with Friends Tournament Schedule 2013

The 2013 Fishing with friends Tournament Schedule starts this April!

Rules are as follows:  Entry fee is $10 with largest legal fish taking all. No sharks, rays, skates, etc. Very simple Winner-Takes-All format; no sponsors, no raffles, no prizes, no points, no hassle. The Tournament starts at 7am with weigh in at 2pm. Weigh in and post tournament pot luck takes place at Dana Point Jet Ski and Kayak Center. Parking will be available for those early launchers. The gate to the launch will be open at 6:30am and closed at 7:30, but will re-open at 9am. You can launch any other place you want to, just make sure you've checked in and kicked in your ante. All participants are responsible for bringing something to the pot-luck. Dana Pint Jet Ski and Kayak Center will supply the main course.
